Opioid Settlement spending
The Minnesota Attorney General’s office currently holds all information related to this case and it is considered non-public because it is either part of an active investigation (most likely) or has been deemed privileged for another legal reason. However, the data below was used to file the original complaint to the Minnesota Attorney General, and we believe it should be public. As of today, the Minneapolis City Attorney has received all allegations related to potential opioid settlement misuse.
Although directly connected, the general misuse and mismanagement of Opioid Settlement Funds by the Frey administration is separate from the Helix LLC (HSS) Fraud Investigation, still being held at the Office of Inspector General Program Integrity Oversight Division. We are not here to dictate, but merely to provide you with the information you need to choose how you feel. We can not confirm whether those who misused money meant to aid our most vulnerable are being actively prosecuted, however the private non-public classification clearly indicates that powerful people don’t want you to see behind the curtain. We’re here to peel it back for you.
